The health and safety of our guests and associates is a priority for us at Les Amis.
Our restaurant adopts good health and safety practices while undergoing a thorough cleaning and disinfecting process on a daily basis. However, in light of the COVID-19 outbreak, we would like to share with you the enhanced precautionary and cleaning measures that we have instituted at our restaurant.
Les Amis uses cleaning products and sanitisers which are in line with the guidelines provided by the National Environment Agency (NEA) and World Health Organisation (WHO) to combat COVID-19 along with a broad spectrum of viruses. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, we have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting the restaurant, with particular attention paid to high-touch areas (i.e. door knobs, railings etc).
In our daily meetings, our team is reminded that proper and frequent washing of hands is vital to help combat the spread of viruses. Hand sanitisers are provided at the entrance of the restaurant and in the washrooms for guests. For our staff, hand sanitiser and anti-bacterial soap is provided in the back of house.
In addition to training on housekeeping and hygiene protocols, our team is provided with ongoing guidance on COVID-19 awareness. To add, they are reminded to be socially responsible.
Les Amis is closely monitoring the Singapore Government’s and WHO’s statements regarding the COVID-19 outbreak. We are also following guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments. Our management team is on standby 24/7 to support the restaurant and coordinate with local authorities if necessary.
The restaurant ensures a safety distance of at least one meter between tables of different groups of guests.
We have protocols in placed to facilitate contact tracing. All guests, and staff, are required to use our national check-in system called SafeEntry to facilitate our nation’s contract tracing efforts. In addition, our staff are also registered on “TraceTogether
”, which is another government initiated contact tracing application.
The temperature of our team is taken twice daily before each service. All guests and other associates are also required to have their temperature taken upon entering the restaurant.
If we are alerted to a case of COVID-19 at our restaurant, we will immediately work with the relevant health authorities to obtain the facts and guidance on what steps to take with both guests and associates. Additional cleaning and disinfecting protocol for the restaurant will be undertaken.
